Resolution

. Refers to number of pixels in each dimension.

. Measured by number of pixels in horizontal by number of pixels in vertical.

. Units are pixels per inch.

. Example: Most of monitors have 1920 x 1080 resolution.

. We can set the resolution in display setting of our monitor.

. It is recommended to set with maximum resolution so that we get better quality display.

. Our mobile phones have resolution 720 x 1280 in common.

. Depending on the type of mobile, it changes.

. If two different sized screens have same resolution, image looks bigger in the wider screen, remaining everything is same.

. If same sized screens have different resolutions, the screen with high resolution shows more options with icons and text smaller.

. The image will be sharper.

. It means it reduces amount of scrolling down to view more options.
